           General Information

  • Sessions offered first Monday in March, June and September.
  • Length of program - Eight weeks
  • GUARANTEED Small Sessions
  • Annual Seminars for keeping working farriers up to date on new procedures and techniques.
  • Return Policy - Any one can return at any time to spend as much time as needed.
  • Live Horses are used, all horses worked on are privately owned and the finished job has to be acceptable.
  • All tools and materials are furnished while here.
  • Housing is provided if desired.
  • Cost of the program is $4000.00 with $250.00 due upon application.

Working farriers stop in frequently and spend time.  Everyone has something to offer and I welcome anyone that is willing to share his/her knowledge.

               

  


For the last 31 years Danny Ward and the North Carolina Horseshoers Association has hosted the Eastern Farrier Conference held the first week in November.


                                                                                         
       Danny is an avid supporter of the American Farriers Team






















Since 2006 Danny Ward has hosted the Old Dominion Blacksmith Association (
www.odbsa.com) annual Blacksmithing Challenge that is held on the second Saturday in July.



Danny spent a week-end doing something that he also enjoys and that is blacksmithing. Danny and some of his blacksmithing friends made all the following items.
